In this class, students will learn how to use acrylic paint and loose, gestural mark making to create large-scale abstract figures or portraits. Learn about the proportions of the body and the face, how to plan out your design using layers of paint, and how to portray a nonrealistic figure. *Students are encouraged to bring a reference image of 1-2 people (family, friend, self, etc) to paint from. Level: Beginner - no experience required. All materials provided. Ages 16+.
