DETAILS
AGES: 8-12 TEACHER: Megan Larson COST: $30.00 Kumihimo (Japanese Multi Stranded Braiding): This centuries old braiding technique was originally used to make cords to tie on the armor of Samurai warriors. Using a simple 8 sided loom and satin cord, participants will learn to make 7 and 8 stranded braids that can be used as friendship bracelets, bookmarks, and many other things. We will complete the bracelets with metal jewelry clasps for a professional finish, and each student will be able to take their loom home with them so they can make more Kumihimo braids on their own. All class tuition sales final, no refunds.
